Storyline.
The Himura-kai is one of the most notorious yakuzas in Japan. It is said to believe that they have approximately 654 hideouts in Japan alone. Even the Special Armed Forces of the said country cannot hold down the clan, and no one wants to deal with the wrath of the said yakuza. The Himura-kai had a lot of businesses when it was still in the hands of then Kumichō, Himura Kazuhiko, however their deals only went around Asia.
Upon the death of the former kumichō and the lack of children he sired, the Himura-kai fell into the hands of then Wakagashira, Oikawa Tōru. With the current kumichō, the clan began to expand businesses internationally gaining the favors of different Mafia Leaders around the world. The Family began experimenting with chemicals and distributed them throughout various parts of the globe. They have become the main distributor for drugs and other lethal substances.
In the hands of Oikawa Tōru, the Himura-kai grew even more vicious. Even those with high political standing know better than to deal with the clan. They painted the streets with the blood of every enemy they encountered. They are never lenient to those who betrayed the clan. The kumichō has the power to start a war with just a single command. They are feared and respected. And with their achievements, they have created a lot of enemies.
How would your story unfold within the yakuza? Would you climb the ranks and stay as a loyalist to the current kumichō? Or would you attempt to take all that power for yourself?
After all, it is said and believed that once you are with the Himura-kai, you will have the entire world at your fingertips.
Omertà. ( Code of Silence )
Once you stepped into this ground you must follow the 沈黙のコード.
First, A code of Silence - Never to "rat out " any members of himura kai. Never to divulge any secrets of Himurakai. Even if they were threatened by torture or death.
Second, Complete obedience to the boss - Obey the boss's orders, no matter what.
Third, Assistance - Provide any necessary assistance to any other allianced Yakuza faction.
Fourth, Vengeance - Any attacks on family members must go avenged. "An attack on one is an attack on all."
Fifth, Avoid contact with the authorities.
Failure to follow the 沈黙のコード will not be forgiven.
Remember, He who is deaf, blind and silent will live a hundred years in peace.

Terms.
Kumichō - head of the yakuza
Wakagashira - the first lieutenant. they are usually the second in command and the kumichō’s right hand man.
Saikō Komon - senior advisor of the kumichō. they are often seen as an associate as well.
Komon - advisors of the kumichō.
Kobun - the general remaining members of the yakuza
Notes.
A. More positions and possibilities will be opened as the group grows.
B. Any member of the yakuza may challenge the current kumichō for the title, upon meeting the following requirements:
must have been an active member for at least 4 weeks.must have the support of at least 12 members of the family.If a member meets the requirements, notify the base and plot with the kumichō. The results of the plot must be realistic, and please be careful of godmodding.
How To Join.
1.) Go directly to the Twitter base and message the admins the character you wish to portray, your age and timezone.
2.) Once an admin has replied, you will be given a form. The form will contain a quick audition process and may prove useful to you in line with finding your stand in the yakuza.
3.) Once your form has been accepted, you may create an account with any username. Mention the base to be verified.
Guidelines.
001. This is a 16+ Open Twitter base. Members are allowed to interact with characters outside of the au, but are reminded to stay in character.
002. This is a semi-lit rp base. Use brackets or symbols to indicate ooc tweets and keep them to a minimum.
003. At the moment, it's one account per soul.
004. The admins prohibit facechasing and godmodding. It is highly advised to be inclusive to everyone. Do not make anyone feel out of place.
005. No OOC drama. If there are troubles with your fellow operators, please solve them through dms. You may also inform the base if any trouble may arise between operators.
006. Character change may occur twice during your stay in the yakuza. The base will not be allowing temporary character changes, as this may cause a mess when it comes to the masterlist.
007. Activity is important. If a character is inactive for more than a week, they will be kicked out from the yakuza. Members that wish to go on hiatus or a break, must inform the base first. Once kicked out of the yakuza, you may re-apply if your chosen character is not yet taken.
008. Please be respectful. The admins will not tolerate racism, harassment or such of any kind.
